Welcome to Walking Beirut! By accessing and using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.
1. General Information
Walking Beirut is a travel agency providing walking tours, airport transfers, and other travel services in Beirut and Lebanon. By booking a service with us, you confirm that you are over the age of 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
2. Booking Process
  • Reservations: All bookings must be made through our website or by contacting our customer service team. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email or voucher from Walking Beirut.
  • Payment: Full payment for tours and airport transfers is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. Payment can be made through the available online payment methods on our website.
  • Currency: All transactions are processed in Lebanese Pounds (LBP) or the equivalent in USD, based on the current exchange rate at the time of booking.
3. Airport Transfers
  • Pickup and Drop-off: The service includes pickup from Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport or your specified location in Beirut and transportation to the designated destination, or vice versa, based on your booking.
  • Flight Delays: If your flight is delayed, we will track your flight and adjust the pickup time accordingly, with no extra charge. If there is a significant delay that exceeds 2 hours, please notify us.
  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to appear at the designated pickup location within 30 minutes of your scheduled pickup time, a no-show fee may apply, and the transfer may be canceled.
4. Walking Tours
  • Tour Bookings: All walking tours must be booked in advance through our website or customer service. Tour itineraries and schedules are subject to availability and may change due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, road closures, or other operational issues.
  • Tour Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the tour will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.
  • Private and Group Tours: For private tours, a minimum number of participants may be required. For group tours, the minimum number of participants will be specified at the time of booking. If the minimum number is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the tour or offer alternative dates.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Airport Transfers: If you cancel your airport transfer at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Walking Tours: Tour cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the departure date for a full refund. For cancellations within 48 hours, a 50% cancellation fee applies.
  • Refunds: Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for the original booking. It may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
6. Passenger Responsibility
  • Punctuality: It is your responsibility to be ready at the designated pickup location or meeting point at the agreed-upon time. Any delays caused by the passenger will not be compensated.
  • Luggage: Passengers are responsible for ensuring their luggage is within the limits of the vehicle for transfers. For walking tours, you are advised to carry only necessary personal items.
  • Health and Fitness: Walking tours may involve walking on uneven surfaces or inclines. By booking a walking tour, you acknowledge that you are physically capable of participating in the tour. If you have any health concerns, please inform us prior to booking.
  • Behavior: Passengers and tour participants are expected to behave respectfully and courteously toward the driver, guide, and fellow participants. Disruptive behavior may result in the immediate cancellation of the service or tour without refund.
7. Liability
  • Limitation of Liability: Walking Beirut is not liable for any delays, accidents, or damages that may occur during airport transfers or walking tours, except where such liability is imposed by law. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service or tour.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or other unforeseen events.
8. Privacy and Data ProtectionWe are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. 9. Amendments to the TermsWalking Beirut reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the updated terms will take effect immediately upon posting.
10. Governing LawThese Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lebanon. Any disputes arising from the use of our services or this website shall be resolved in the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
